WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Orders typically ship within 3 business days of being placed.

In the case of backorders, shipping will occur by the estimated date provided on the website and in your order confirmation email. Any shipping or delivery dates provided are estimates only and are subject to change.

Movemate is not liable for changes to estimated shipping or delivery dates once an order has been placed.

SHIPPING ADDRESS ACCURACY & CHANGES

All orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that this address is complete and accurate.

  • Address changes must be requested before the order has dispatched.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, address changes cannot be guaranteed and are subject entirely to the shipping carrier’s policies and ability to reroute the shipment.
  • Movemate is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

If a request is made after dispatch, we may attempt to assist by contacting the carrier (typically FedEx or UPS), but successful changes are not guaranteed.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY ORDER IS SHIPPED?

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Orders are typically shipped via FedEx or UPS. A signature is not required upon delivery. Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.

We strongly recommend monitoring your tracking information closely and contacting the carrier directly for delivery-specific requests such as holds, redirects, or pickup arrangements.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMELINES

Movemate ships worldwide from our facility in Toronto, Canada. Delivery timelines begin after an order has shipped, not from the order date.

Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

  • Canada: approximately 2–4 business days
  • United States: approximately 4–9 business days
  • International (Europe & Rest of World): approximately 6–9 business days

These timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Customs processing or inspections
  • Import documentation or duties
  • Carrier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Address accuracy or delivery location

DELIVERY ISSUES, LOST PACKAGES & CLAIMS

Any delivery issues or non-receipt claims must be reported to us within 5 days of the delivery date shown on the tracking information.

This allows us to initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier where applicable.

  • Movemate is not responsible for packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier that are subsequently lost, stolen, or misplaced.
  • Claims submitted outside the 5-day reporting window may not be eligible for investigation or resolution.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping is not included in the product price due to variable shipping costs across Canada, the United States, and international destinations.

Available shipping options and rates will be presented at checkout.

IMPORT FEES & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For orders shipped outside of Canada and the United States, you may be responsible for import fees, including taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.

These fees are determined by your country’s customs authority and assigned broker and are payable to the carrier, customs broker, or local import authority.

Import fees vary by country. We recommend researching your country’s import policies before placing an order.

Failure to pay required import fees may result in the shipment being held, delayed, or returned. Returned shipments due to unpaid import fees are not eligible for refunds.

CUSTOMS PROCESSING & DELAYS

International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, documentation requests, or additional processing, which can result in delays beyond estimated delivery timelines.

While we will assist where possible in cases of extended or abnormal delays, Movemate does not control customs processing timelines and cannot be held liable for delays caused by customs authorities or border agencies.
