How do I get my quote?
Start your trade-in, choose a category and answer a few questions about your item’s model and condition. Your quote is calculated instantly from current market values.
When do I get my credit?
Right away. Your gift card is issued as soon as you accept your quote, before you ship anything, so you can spend it on today’s order.
Is there a hold on my card?
Yes. A temporary hold for your item’s value is placed on your card when your gift card is issued. It’s released once your item arrives and its value is confirmed.
What do I receive?
A multi-use Movemate gift card for your trade-in value. Trade in more than one item and the values are combined on one card.
What if my item is worth more than what I’m buying?
Any remaining balance stays on your gift card for a future order.
Can I use it on an order I’ve already placed?
No. Gift cards can’t be applied after checkout, so start your trade-in before you place your order.
How do you decide what my item is worth?
Pricing is based on your item’s condition and current market value. Every item is assessed by an expert after it arrives.
What if my item is assessed differently from how I described it?
You’ll be told why and offered a new price. If you accept, the hold is adjusted and the difference is charged. If you decline, the original gift card value is charged and your item is returned free of charge.
How do I send my item in?
With free tracked shipping. If you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, you can also choose drop-off or at-home pick-up.
