Can I use Movemate while I work?
Yes! Movemate is designed to balance ease and effort, allowing you to move while staying focused. You control the tempo, intensity, and movement patterns, making it easy to shift from subtle background movement to more intentional movement whenever you choose.
Do I need a standing desk?
No. A standing desk gives you a convenient way to move while working, but you can also use Movemate while watching TV, taking a movement break or practising mobility. Under your desk, it can also be used while seated.
How much can I use Movemate in a day?
It depends on how you use it. Some people use Movemate for mobility practice, recovery or rehabilitation, while others use it to add more movement while working, in the kitchen, watching TV, or throughout the day.
During the workday, most people use Movemate 2–4 times, with sessions ranging from 5–15 minutes to 40–60+ minutes. How often and how long you use it is entirely up to you.
As you use it, you’ll naturally find your own rhythm. Many people pair Movemate with things they already do—morning emails, phone calls, meetings, movement breaks, cooking dinner, or watching TV—making movement a natural part of the day.

Is Movemate difficult to use?

Can I wear shoes, or should I use socks or bare feet?
Movemate can be used barefoot, with socks, or with flat-soled shoes. Many people prefer barefoot or socks to better experience the board’s dynamic movement and the gentle, massage-like sensory feedback through the soles of the feet—but the choice is yours.
Will Movemate work on my floor?
Movemate works on most level indoor floors, including hardwood, tile, vinyl and carpet. Firm surfaces allow smoother twisting, while softer surfaces offer more traction. You can use a floor mat for extra protection.
What are the dimensions and weight capacity?
