As a movement professional who has to teach online I am always looking for ways to integrate natural movement at my standing desk! The MoveMate has given me that & more! Fun!
Love my Movemate! That's the short version ha ha. The slightly longer one is that when it arrived I liked it, but it took a little time "getting to know" it IYSWIM, but within a couple days I honestly felt like it was the missing piece for me. Yes I like using it at my standing desk, and find it helps me concentrate on design work, but also move it into my living room the rest of the time just to hop on and off whenever I feel like it - first thing in the morning is common, watching tv, even logging some extra "steps" on my Apple watch (just make sure your arms are free at your sides and moving with you). In shoes, slippers or just socks as the mood takes me. Not cheap but the quality is excellent, and it will be with me for many years, and used daily, I expect! Lovely customer service also if needed, appreciate the small team vibe and craftsmanship, the focus on detail and on real customer satisfaction.
Initially very happy. Over about two weeks the gaps between some of the wooden slats are getting wider. Not sure if there’s an issue here but don’t like the idea of the gaps getting larger
Hi Movemate Team. I am 67 years old and used this for the 1st time a week ago at the office. I did not sit down at all while working except during my lunch break. It’s really good! I feel my joints and muscles worked but not tired and it really helps me to concentrate better. And also has helped me with some pain and stiffness that I had in my lower back. I love it 🥰

I had broken my shoulder a couple months ago and was needing an activity that was safe and fun. Movemate has filled the void. I throw my favourite tunes on and dance, literally with my feet on the board. Even getting to mastering swivels. You’d be surprised how it affirms your centre of gravity as well as gets your blood circulating. It’s become my 5:00pm someplace.!!! Cheers to a fantastic innovation.

Revolutionary product. I am generally not a big fan of shopping on instagram for things I didn’t know I needed. But the moment I saw this board I knew it was different. I hesitated a bit because of the price tag, which is a bit costly in my opinion but so be it. Been using the product for two weeks and feels and looks great. I followed the instructions only do 2-3 20’ sessions a day until I get used to it. I am glad for this purchase!
I've had my MoveMate for a couple of years. I don't use it all the time, but I love it when I do. I like it better than a straight balance board.
I use a 2" rubber mat on it so that it's less slick and more stable.
Hugging my let’s move mate because I love it. I have excruciating pain pains in my feet and it’s hard for me to get my toes some of them to touch the ground. My pinky toes on both feet are broken and there’s constant bruising there because of the way I’m walking so this magical wooden board allows me to get movement in my toes that I’m not getting barefoot or with shoes and it gives me hope in increasing mobility rather than continuing to lose it in my joints in my feet and my ankles so I can’t thank you enough. I’ve pains in my neck and my body and this helps with that. I just feel better even if I’m sitting down using it I don’t have to stand. I can just sit and move my toes and feet and ankles a little bit and it just feels awesome and it’s fun to stand and do it as well thanks and gratitude for such an excellent excellent mate to move with.
I work at home on a standing desk. After using the Movemate board for 2 weeks more or less all day long, I am very pleased. For the previous 4 years, I have stood on the FluidStance Level board. The Movemate doesn't have the same level of rotation, but of course the flexible surface more than compensates. My dream board would combine the rotation of the FluidStance with the surface of the Movemate. Although the slats are rounded, they can get a bit tough on the feet, so I added the FluidStance mat on top, which fits perfectly. I also use a ground mat to stop any impact on my floorboards.
The Movemate is everything I had hoped. It keeps me from locking my knees and standing still for too long, and it's definitely challenging my old and damaged ankle joint to stay limber.
What I had not expected was how much Movemate would inform me about my scoliosis-influenced pelvis and movement. I find myself moving several inches in one direction after some wave time. This is great feedback - and now I have to learn how to wave more strongly in counterpoint to stay in the same spot.
Movement and improvement, all while working. What could be better?

I knew sitting for hours wasn't great, but I quickly learned that just standing in one static position isn't much better. I had tried foam "anti-fatigue" pads before, but I really disliked the cheap, plastic feeling.
The MoveMate is truly special. I was worried I’d have trouble concentrating, but it’s been the complete opposite—the gentle movement actually helps me focus. It's so much fun to use, and I immediately felt the tension in my body relax.
As a bonus, the natural wood feel under my feet is a premium touch that I love.

Yes, my Movemate is still at home, it was originally bought as a companion to my stand-up desk at work, but it just hasn't made it there yet. I am having too much fun with it at the house. I am using it in the kitchen while doing various chores as well as just hanging out my best friend Lola (pictured here), and just moving on it. Apparently it makes a great headrest as well. 💙🐾
The Movemate moves a lot better on the kitchen floor with the "swivel" moves, in the den on the rug, the twisting motions are not as easy. I've had my Movemate less then two weeks, but I already feel the difference how it makes my ankles and Achilles feel, which is the main reason I bought it, to increase my joint mobility. I've only tried it barefoot and with socks, preferring the socks. It feels a little slippery to me when barefoot, but maybe that is because it's brand new. I love all the different sensations you can feel just by subtly moving your feet in a different location or changing your motion.
The packaging is awesome, it comes very well protected. The corner of my box had taken quite a crush on both the outer and inner box, yet the Movemate was safely tucked inside with a nice note signed by the owner's of the company. If you have not read up about them, it's a great story and a company that makes you want to support them. Yes, the item has a high price point, but the quality, lifetime guarantee and great customer service behind it makes it well worth the money. I may update this review once I do get my Movemate to my job to utilize with my stand-up desk, for the intended purpose of which it was bought, but I am definitely loving my new Movemate and would love to have one for home and work, it's that much fun, if you have been on the fence, don't wait, just do it and find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

I've had a standing desk for a couple of years but rarely used it because I'd get uncomfortable standing pretty quickly, even using the fancy ergonomic standing mat I have. I wanted to incorporate more movement into my day and considered getting an under desk walking pad but the electric ones are not particularly aesthetic, take up a lot of space, use up electricity, make noise, and seem to die after 1-3 years, making them neither a very appealing nor sustainable option. I started looking into balance boards and stumbled upon the Movemate. I was drawn to its unique dynamic movement patterns, its beautiful and sustainable design, and its compact profile. I've now been using it for a few weeks and I have never enjoyed my standing desk more! I find that I can stand on it for a couple of hours straight without getting uncomfortable and it's fun to play with the different moves. My favorite move is the flex, which sort of mimics walking in place, and I find that I can do this even during video calls without being too distracting. It's easy to move my Movemate out of the way when I want to use my chair for a bit. I use it barefoot, on top of a chair mat on top of my carpeted floors. I don't mind paying a fair price for quality products that I will truly use and, to me, the Movemate is definitely worth it.
After converting my desk with a lifting unit, I quickly realized that I needed something for movement. The Facebook videos about MoveMate came at just the right time. For a while, the relatively high price put me off ordering one. Since I'm more of a DIY type, I'm sure I could recreate it, but it wouldn't be "cheaper" if you do the math honestly. So I finally ordered MoveMate.
The first few minutes convinced me that the decision was the right one.
As you can clearly see from the thermal image, your feet get really warm, which my wife was also able to notice.

I've tried to add videos, but don't think they've actually gone through. I am a Yoga Therapist who specializes in Somatics. Somatics retails the postural muscles, so I'm using this both for a standing desk, and to help people retrain these muscles using the board. Fantastic! If the videos did upload, the man is a client, who also got a Movemate from me, who is practicing, and improving his golf swing! I'd love to share more as I use it more!
I bought this for my husband this Christmas. He has very sore calves and ankles. I’m hoping this will help him stay limber. He loves it and uses it while standing at his desk.
The quality is superb and I like the smell of the wood very much. I thought it would be harder to balance on such a board but it's actually quite simple.
We’ve been using Movemate for a couple days now, and even the reluctant family members like it. The question will be - can we successfully integrate it into our routines to get good use of it.
The kids sit on it and rock while watching TV. My partner tried standing on it while doing Duolingo, and i’ve been using it while phone scrolling. Our calves get tired pretty fast at this stage- we’re excited to get stronger! :)
We’ve tried it both on carpets and hard floor, and it acts a bit different, which is fun.
