Frequently Asked Questions

Movemate is finished with a rounded traction-boosting surface. This allows you to use the board safely with shoes, socks, or barefoot.

If using shoes, we recommend wearing primarily flat footwear. Using the board with socks or barefoot enhances pressure point activation and a rolling foot massage sensation.

Movemate can be used on most flooring types. Including, but not limited to: Laminate; Vinyl; PVC; Concrete; Carpet; Hardwood; Rubber; and Ceramic.

Harder flooring types such as concrete, hardwood, and laminate will allow for smoother twisting motion than cushioned flooring such as carpet and rubber.

Cushioned flooring offers more traction, which promotes stability.

We recommend testing multiple indoor surfaces as you explore the possibilities of the board.

Movemate’s distributed pressure design, rounded edges, and non-abrasive finishing help prevent damage to scratch-prone flooring surfaces, such as hardwood.

No, it is not difficult to use Movemate.

Movemate is made to be as user-friendly and accessible as possible for everyone. The board's dynamic design adapts to the natural motion of your lower legs. It's less balancing and more fluid movement. Be loose and allow your body to flow.

Given the novel nature of the board, there may be a small learning curve and brief adjustment period. However, this is normal and you will quickly get the hang of it.

Ultimately, Movemate is created to engage your mind and body in a way that feels natural.

Each board goes through an 8-stage production process (7 of which require high-skill handcrafting) including Cutting, Rounding, Sanding, Chamfering, Lasering, Spray Finishing, Assembly and Packaging.

All the way from its raw materials (I.e. Premium Baltic Birch Plywood; Military-Grade Configuration) to its finishing (Eco Friendly; Non-Slip; High Traffic Usage), Movemate is built to the highest standards for frequent daily usage.
